BELSTA Slippers Size Guide — US, EU & UK Sizes
BELSTA slippers are hand-stitched in Ukraine on European lasts and marked in EU sizes. The most reliable way to choose is by foot length — measure once, match it in the chart, and you're done. Most models are true to size; the exceptions are listed below.

Sizes in the charts are foot length, not insole length.
How to measure your foot
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. Stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe (it's not always the big toe).
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimeters or inches. Repeat for the other foot and use the larger number.
- Find that length in the Foot length column — that's your size.
Measure in the evening, when feet are at their largest, and wear the socks you'd normally wear with slippers, if any. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one — slippers should sit comfortably, never snug.
Narrow or medium width
Five women's models come in two widths per size: Narrow and Medium. Choose Narrow if regular slippers usually slip at the heel or feel roomy across the instep; choose Medium for a standard fit. The narrow-fit models are the Champagne, Midnight, Noir, Chambray, and Pom-Pom Slippers. All other models are a standard medium width.
Models that run large or small
Every product page states the fit under the size selector. As of now:
- The Blossom Slippers — run large; consider going down a size if you're between sizes.
- The Gilded Slippers — run small; consider going up a size if you're between sizes.
- All other models — true to size.
Frequently asked questions
I usually wear a US 7 — which size do I order?
Women's US 7 sits between our 6.5 (EU 37) and 7.5 (EU 38). Measure your foot: up to 23.5 cm choose EU 37, from 23.6 cm choose EU 38. If in doubt, take the larger size.
Is EU sizing the same as European shoe stores?
Yes — the EU number on our slippers is the standard European shoe size, the same you'd see on a European shoe box.
Do the slippers stretch?
Velour and linen uppers soften slightly with wear, but the stitched construction holds its shape — don't buy a tight pair expecting it to stretch a full size.
