Felt Slippers — Italian Wool Felt, Cut and Stitched by Hand
Felt is the material we reach for when warmth has to be light. BELSTA felt slippers are cut from dense Italian wool felt that holds heat, lets moisture escape, and keeps its shape season after season. Choose a closed-toe mule with a direct-injected non-slip sole, a wide-fit felt mule for extra room across the forefoot, or a loafer-style slipper with a felt sole that makes no sound on hardwood.
Many styles carry embroidery or velour appliques — dogs, cats, coffee cups, a smile — and several are the easiest gift you'll buy this year.
Every BELSTA pair is hand-stitched in our family-run workshop in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine, where we've been making house shoes since 2006 — and ships from our Los Angeles warehouse, usually within 2–5 business days.
Frequently asked questions
Is wool felt itchy? No. Italian wool felt is dense and smooth; it feels closer to a thick coat than a sweater.
How do I clean felt slippers? Spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry. Felt-sole styles should not be machine washed.
Are felt-sole slippers slippery? On carpet and wood they grip well. Some styles have a printed grip pattern for tile.
